ICADs 47 through 53

 

It's Index Card A Day or ICAD Monday. Below are the ones I created last week. 

Day 47: Happy Birthday Squiggles. Let's party.  Background scrapbook paper glued to index card.  Cats were stickers.

Day 48: Great Hare Day.  Background created using watercolors and focal image is from a magazine.  Pink posca pen used to write sentiment.

Day 49: Butterfly.  Background made with leftover painted papers.  Butterfly fussy cut from a napkin used in this previous project.

Day 50: Untitled.  Focal image cut from junk mail, green image is left over painted watercolor paper that was cut to inverted U shape. Washi tape surrounds two edges.

Day 51: Zebra 51.  Red painted paper coupled with blue painted Tyvek.  Focal image from a magazine.  I enhanced a couple letters using a white posca pen.

Day 52: Sweet Vermouth and Pink champagne cake.  Background created using watercolors.  Cake and vermouth fussy cut from two magazines and placed on a table made from a security envelope.

Day 53: Bleubeard's other houseboat.  I have to admit, this is my second least favorite ICAD.  The "boat" was cut from a Staz-on and alcohol master board created earlier.  The door and lamp were cut from magazine images and the chair was a postage stamp from stash.  Background was painted metallic paint.
