Let them eat cake

I have another journal entry for Valerie's theme Anything Goes at Art Journal Journey which I will share with you today.

I'm channeling my inner Marie Antoinette today.  It's time to Let them eat cake.  I have a few detail photos, too.

I started with 140 lb black cardstock I cut to 5.5 X 8 inch (13.97 X 20.32 cm).  I then colored a page from a thesaurus and affixed it to the reverse of the card that had cut out cupcakes.  Finally, I added the sentiment I wrote by hand using my white gel pen.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Bleubeard and I hope you like cupcakes.  While you're here, please stop by Art Journal Journey.  There's still ample time to join us.

I also have a sneak peek at an art play date.

See you for T later today.
