Today I have another square for Valerie's theme Anything Goes at Art Journal Journey. And I am still getting a few "Failed to Publish" blog comments.
this set of papers I created during November 2022's Second Thursday Tutorial.
I didn't lay the square straight on the scanner bed. When I tried to straighten it in Photoshop, I cropped it a bit wonky. This and all the squares I have created are 8 sq inches (20.32 sq cm).EDIT: Not sure how Mae came up with 2.8 inches per side, but EACH square is 8 X 8 X cardstock and paper collage thickness.
Thanks for
dropping by today to share a bit of time with Bleubeard and me. We are
eternally grateful. We also hope to see you at Art Journal Journey with your Anything Goes journal (paper or fabric) entry, canvas, altered book spread, or digital art.

Love those squares and I am so sorry that you are still having commenting woes. I had a few cases where blogger was determined to make me anonymous and one failed to publish today - but changed browsers temporarily which helped.
ReplyDeleteYour squares for the journal page are great and a good idea.
ReplyDeleteFailing to comment or not being able to comment at all is shclimb straight.
Have beuatiful day, hug Elke

ReplyDeleteI like the blues and greens together. Very nice! :)
ReplyDeleteBlue and green are some of my favourite colours. I have problem with missing comments from blogger friends. They just disappeared by itself.
ReplyDeleteQuite a rhythm! "YES!"
ReplyDeleteYou really got a lot of art from your painted pages. 5 is impressive. I think the yes is perfect because you were able to finish off so many squares. Hope all is well with you! Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLove that color combination
ReplyDeleteThose blues are beautiful together!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the colors! You have a great color eye!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you have trouble commenting-probably on my blog...I'm not sure how to fix it...
Interesting work — what are the dimensions you use to obtain “8 sq inches (20.32 sq cm)” ? Around 2.8 inches on a side?
ReplyDeletebest… mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I like the circles and dots within the squares. And the colors :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! And the blues and greens just meld.
ReplyDeleteA square that is 8 by 8 inches contains 64 square inches. A square that is 8 square inches has each side the square root of 8, which is around 2.8 inches. Sorry to be a nerd!
ReplyDeleteYou have so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThese colors compliment the theme of this piece. It feels so musical. I really love it.
