Before we begin, I want to take a moment of silence to honor and respect International Holocaust Remembrance Day. It is an opportunity to remind the world of the horrors of the Holocaust and Nazi Germany, especially since my own country is now being torn apart due to antisemitism and racism. PLEASE take this moment to reflect and remember.
And the one I think is the funniest:
Thanks for visiting. I will be by to join Rain, Nicole, and Annie, as well as all their participants, after I visit the rest of my T Tuesday group I didn't get a chance to visit this week.
Thank you for remembering International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Love your multi meme post.
ReplyDeleteTo smiles and cats!!!
ReplyDeleteI´ll have pomelo later.
Yes, I have two posts today, one on Holocaust. How people can.... be so little and go at helpless persons and others so strong, surviving this...
These cat photo bombs were hysterical!!
ReplyDeleteHave a super day! :)
Beautiful scarves
ReplyDeletemuch❤love
It is indeed important and good to remember.
ReplyDeleteI am intrigued by the bowl of oranges, and look forward to seeing how you use them.
Cats are great photo-bombers. I enjoyed all your photos. Kate x
It is good to be respectful of the Holocaust and it's sad that there are so many racist people still in this world. I'm sure if they look back in history they may well find that their ancestors did not originate from the country where they live now. What can you say but that's cats for you! Hope you have a good weekend. Hugs, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteYes, it's very important to remember. And also to reflect on our own behavior. Anti-Semitism hasn't gone away. I think people are trying to find a scapegoat for everything that has gone wrong in the world.
ReplyDeleteYour photo bombs are hilarious! I literally laughed out loud.
Those mandarins look intriguing. I'm sure you are not going to eat them. My guess is that you are making a dye.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca
Oh Elizabeth you have really made me laugh with your funnies today...I have tears running down my face now lol.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Annie x
...everyone has a different smile and smiling is easier for some than others.
ReplyDeleteCats are clearly the BEST photo bombers! The first one is hilarious as the cat seems to be making a statement about the couple kissing.
ReplyDeleteThank you for writing about Holocaust Remembrance Day.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a good collection of photo-bombing cats. My favorite photo-bombing photo was taken at a gymnastic match, where two gymnasts were having their photo taken and QUEEN ELIZABETH photo bombed them with a big smile. Best ever!
Nice that you are back online, and I hope you don’t have any big problems that kept you away …

ReplyDeleteYes, thank you for a tribute for the Holocaust Remembrance Day. Your art is always so wonderful but these cat photos have me cracking up. Great faces for FFO. Thank you for joining in. Have a great day today.
ReplyDeleteYour cat pix are absolutely fabulous -- lots of smiles from alll those. And three cheers for online return! I'm glad you mentioned Holocaust Remembrance Day as well.
ReplyDeleteI spoke at a Holocaust remembrance service today, and introduced the survivors whp spoke about their awful experiences. It was very moving.
ReplyDeleteLove the cat funnies, all are great.
Hugs, Valerie
Lovely photos well done on the challenges too
ReplyDeletethe cats were too fun! My husband loves those little oranges too, I love them but can't eat too much citrus. both of my husband's grandparents fled nazi Germany. Great art for the scarfs too
ReplyDeleteGlad to see your back online. We love the mandarin oranges so I'll be interested to see what you do with them. The cat funnies are awesome. Have a great weekend
ReplyDeleteElizabeth,
ReplyDeleteI like the snowman's scarf. Do women wear dress scarves still? I don't think I've seen ladies wearing these in many years. How interesting. The Friday Smiles you came up with are great. Some of these cats are hilarious! Have a funtastic weekend and thanks for visiting, my dear!
Oh I do love a scarf! The funnies really did make me smile. We have had several programmes about the holocaust on TV today. Hugs, Chrisx ps I could just eat an orange and there's not one left!
ReplyDeleteThe cat photos are hilarious.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
I’ll be curious to see what you did with the oranges. Mandarins are delicious. And those sneaky cat photos are great and made me smile. Hope you’ve had a good week. Hugs Erika
ReplyDeleteHolocaust Remembrance should be every day and yes I hate what is happening in our country ... it would seem some don't care if we lose everything we believe in including our values and truth. But you whipped me out of my funk with your cat bombs ... what a hoot. I bet you have some Bleubeard bombs hidden away somewhere. You should post them :) Breath deep and do the best you can. Hopefully we will all get through this ...

I hope next week brings you more reasons to smile, Elizabeth. Thanks for remembering the Holocaust. We must never forget what happened. It sickens me to see the rise of antisemitism and racism in our country. On an entirely different note, the drawing of the lady in the scarf if lovely. She is so beautiful that I hardly notice the snowman. The photobomb pictures are hysterical. I enjoyed them all, but the cat photobombing the dog makes me laugh every time I look at it. Have a much better week!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting my blog! It is so nice to meet you through Rain! Love your photo bomb photos - I especially found the wedding ones to be funny since our daughter is getting married in October!
ReplyDeleteWe should never forget the Holocaust and should make sure that those who choose to deny it or minimize it do not succeed. Sadly, we have learned little from it. The Killing Fields of Cambodia and the massacres in Rwanda make this clear, to say nothing of the ethnic cleansing in the Balkans. And now Putin is doing his best to obliterate Ukraine. Humans are a sorry bunch.
ReplyDeleteI really did laugh out loud at the cat pictures-thank you! And thank you for the Holocaust Remembrance Day on your blog.
ReplyDeleteMy daddy fought in Europe in WW2. It's scary how many people don't know about the Holocaust.
ReplyDeletelove the faces and had lots of fun with the cats :)
ReplyDeleteThe cat photo bombing is so funny lol! I love the scarf art too Elizabeth! ♥ Oh oranges...I love the little Mandarins!
