Today my heart is saddened. I learned on Friday that our dear beloved Lisca's husband Graham has died. The funeral was Saturday and I'm not sure if Lisca will create a T inspired post or not since I am scheduling this on Sunday night in order to have time to work on a few of my Christmas tip-ins that have to go overseas.
I am having trouble getting Lisca's blog to load, but I sincerely hope you will find a way to convey your condolences to her. My heart goes out to her in her time of grief.
I want to start with this image I got from Mia's blog, where she shares the napkins she received in our napkin swap. We now all know who got the red napkin I was supposed to keep for myself.
I always love Merle's menu that resembles a Wichita newspaper on the outside.
I can't forget my drink, which was water with lemon. This must have been my foodie friend Sally's water sans lemon.
Inside I began by showing their drink choices.
It was time to decide what sandwich I would order.
I can't remember what sandwich Sally ordered, but she got potato salad and I got their pasta salad. Can you tell what sandwich I ordered?
Now it's time to please share your own drink related post. It can be
gifts you received, photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, mail
art, junk mail, catalogs, books, sketches, mixed
media, drawings, paintings, handmade cards, tags, scrapbooking, or other
art that is
digital, hybrid, or traditional, a favorite mug, cup and saucer, teapot,
coffee pot, or even a wine glass. Regardless, please join us by linking
below. Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T
participants. Please link only your T post and not your
blog in general. Bleubeard would like to remind you that old
photos are acceptable because they may be taken
any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year. Please remember to visit your
fellow T participants.
I'll let you know next week who correctly guessed what I ordered.
Thank you for mentioning Graham. Well. I did manage to write a blog post today, as I was on my own today and it was nice to do something non death-related. No I can't tell what sort of sandwich you had. But it looks like nice brown bread. Happy T-Day, Hugs, Lisca
Yes, Graham will be missed, especially that beautiful smile of his. That menu looks good to me and your sandwhich looks like sliced beef but then it could be a reubin too. What ever it is, it looks very good. Have a great day today.
I think it might be a grilled cheese, and I believe it is definitely vegetarian. That's my guess. That is a cool menu, and your sandwich looks good. And it is sad to hear about Lisca. And you must be glad the mystery of the red napkin is solved. happy T day Elizabeth. Hugs-Erika
It is sad to hear about the passing of Graham. My heart goes out to Lisca. No, unfortunately I can't tell which sandwich you ordered, but it all looks delicious.
Yes, very sad about Graham. I went through this twice with my parents - it´s mostly a short time left. "My" T had to see his girlfriend die over a year. Kinda strange I thought of Eileen writing my post. Death seems to be near us, always.
The menu looks good and reminds me I wanted to get enchiladas from the Mexican restaurant. But now the Christmas Market is on... Mulled Wine and ... something Christmassy might be my choice?
Yes i will miss Grahams beautiful smile. My condolences Lisca... Elizabeth i think that might be the roast beef sandwich 'Turning over a new beef'... although like Kathy says i think you are a vegetarian .. hmmm.. Happy T day! Hugs! deb
So sorry to hear this sad news, my heart goes out to Lisca and her family ❤️. That looks like a fun place to eat and your sandwich looks amazing, I bet it was yummy with the salad 😊. Sending you a happy T Day wishes! Hugs Jo x

Boy, soda prices have gone up, haven't they? I guess everything has. Back to water for me! Love the Wichita paper layout!
