Bleubeard and I welcome you to another week of T Stands For Tuesday. I thought my inability to leave comments on embedded comments had come to an end. Sadly, I'm having trouble leaving comments today. Not how I wanted to start T Tuesday.
Last week I showed you this front of signature 1. Each signature is made from a heavy card base that is A6, which means this front is 4.5 x 5.75 inches (11.43 x 14.61 centimeters).
Here are the two center images for Week 1. Although my fussy cutting
isn't always the best, you might recognize the tea cup template I used
is the same as the one I used on my T Stands For Tuesday invitation you
see on my right sidebar. The size of the tea cup has been adjusted to
fit these pages.
This is the back of signature 1. I have finally completed this signature of four pages using collage fodder and papers I created for my Second Thursday Tutorial.
Now for signature 2.
Now it's time to share your own drink related post, please. It can be
gifts you received, photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, mail
art, junk mail, catalogs, books, sketches, mixed
media, drawings, paintings, handmade cards, tags, scrapbooking, or other
art that is
digital, hybrid, or traditional, a favorite mug, cup and saucer, teapot,
coffee pot, or even a wine glass. Regardless, please join us by linking
below. Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T
participants. Please link only your T post and not your
blog in general. Bleubeard would like to remind you that old
photos are acceptable because they may be taken
any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year. Please remember to visit your
fellow T participants.
We are also joining AEDM and
we are hosting Art Journal Journey with our themes Collage Fodder, Food and Drink, or both.
Oh Elizabeth, I am loving this this! It already looks wonderful. I loved looking at the close ups of your collage fodder! Happy T Day, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteThe teacups are very nice. I like the way they have text on them. I hope blogger gets kinder to you!
ReplyDeleteTHanks for hosting… mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I love your collages, Elizabeth. The tea cups are wonderful to see on every page, and they always look different. I had to laugh about the "Hormonal Symphony" on one of your collage papers. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteLove your collaged fodder, including those tea cups! This will be a great journal when completed.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tea Day,
Kate
Hi Elizabeth, I am in Love with your newest project! Looks like you had fun too putting it together so far.
ReplyDeleteI did copy and paste your email comment-sorry for the hassle with Blogger-hugs
Elizabeth, I have to agree with the others. This is a brilliant art project. Again I am so impressed with your artistic abilites. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteLovely pages
ReplyDeleteLove the cups, great idea and to start the day with "Amore" is wonderful, too.
ReplyDeleteBlogger, eh. I´ll never understand how they could "destroy" a well running system...
That is looking really good. My commenting woes come and go. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great project to use up all sorts of bits and pieces. I bet you have fun making these!
ReplyDeleteAs for Blogger woes, my old PC is the only device I can use without Blogger problems. I have a posh Macbook and an iPad but neither want to know. You're not the only one. Kate from my Friday Smiles blog sometimes emails me her comment.
I am not doing many comments these days. Not because I have Blogger problems, but because I am looking after my dear Graham and every moment is precious.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
Loving your teacup book! Those blue teacups are my favourite and the collage pages look so much fun to make 😊. Happy T Day wishes! Hugs Jo x
ReplyDeletePerfect page for T-Day! :)
ReplyDeleteBlogger has been acting up randomly for some time. So frustrating!
Hope your day goes well. :)
This will be such a cute book when it's finished. I love the polka dot blue teacup. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous page 2 of your Tea cup book. I still think this is a fantastic idea, and what a nice way to celebrate T day too. Hope all is well. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteJust to let you know that I receive your comments no problem on my email account. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI cannot leave comments on some blogs either. Google keeps telling me to sign in, although I am signed in.
ReplyDeleteGreat art work!
I wonder what is up with this commenting issue. Can we blame Elon Musk?!
ReplyDeleteDear Elizabeth,
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to be part of your linkup again today - and I'm also happy that you used German-language writing on the left edge of the first collage. It seems to be the banderole of wool, which is apparently "easy to care for" and "dimensionally stable" :-) In my post there are also shapes of cups to see - however, they are made of glass. And there are drinking glasses that have been decorated with cut patterns.
Love to you and Bleubeard,
Traude

ReplyDeleteI'm loving the use of circles throughout!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! You are an artist.
