I'm once again joining Neet at Hickydorums, our host this month at Art Journal Journey with her Fur and/or Feathers theme.
I started this page after I found the feather paper in my stash. I then threaded the ribbon through the metal disk. Finally, I glued the feather to the page using Ultimate glue.
Bleubeard and I
are simply thrilled you joined us and hope to see you at Art Journal Journey with your own take on Fur and/or Feathers. There's still plenty of time to join this fun challenge.
Lovely page, feathers are always so beautiful. Have a great week, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous. I am so impressed at your creativity.
ReplyDeleteHaving my weekly catch up yet again. Fabulous art pages and the one you called Flight looks absolutely beautiful and I liked those murals as well.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week.

Feathers are great. My mother had a hat with deep red feathers, probably dyed. They fascinated me. Other hats might have just one feather back then. I think they were not from endangered birds — I’m old but the egret plume problem was way before my time.Anyway, now we have no fashionable hats and no feathers — leave that to the Royal Family.
ReplyDeleteI like your use of feathers that were on the ground. So no birds harmed!

Lots of fun feathers on this piece. I love all the colors and styles of feathers. Happy new week my dear!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty page!
ReplyDeleteLiterally feathers, nice
ReplyDeleteVery cool page. I especially like the use of the real feather.
ReplyDeleteI love these feathers. There is so much magic in them. Have a nice day today.
ReplyDeleteFound feathers are fun to use :)
ReplyDeleteThey always say when you find a white feather on the ground it is from an angel. It's a lovely thought if it brings comfort to the finder.
ReplyDeleteYour found feather is lovely and I do like the metal disc with one on, great paper you found with all those coloured feathers. Lots of variety there when you look closely at them.
Hugs, Neet xxx
We've a pet store called Fur & Feathers!
ReplyDeleteI love feathers and this reminds me, I'd planned to paint a few for my November sale! Maybe as cards or possibly framed or bookmarks. I love how you laid this out!
