Time

You probably know by now that Bleubeard and I are hosting Art Journal Journey, where my theme is Count your blessings.

For me, time truly is a blessing.  I have time to reflect, make art, share stories with other bloggers I visit, and time to do whatever pleases me.

Time can be your friend

or your enemy.

It can help set you on the right path

or lead you astray.

My advice is

to use it wisely

and to your advantage.

Whatever you do, don't let it rule you.

For this page, I began by laying down green acrylic craft paint using an old hotel card.  I then stamped three different clock faces several times on the page.  Next, I added a gifted (thanks Julia) die cut clock face, a decorative brad, and a portion of gifted embossed card stock.  Lastly, I added the word TIME.

Bleubeard and I are simply thrilled you took time to join us today as we host Art Journal Journey during the month of August, where my theme is Count your blessings.

I have to admit to wishing for more time in the day, but as you say used wisely we can find our own way to cope with the hours in the day.

I often think that my time seems to go by more quickly as I get older , but as you said so clever we have to find our own way to handle the hours wisley in our day. And I try to live in the moment, but it is sooo difficult!
    Big hugs

  14. Lovely page Elizabeth - you are very lucky to be blessed with time. I try not to squander the time I get outside of work and don’t begrudge the time spent working (usually), but I could always use more art time!
