365 day art challenge: Week 27 and ICAD Week 6

Here are my collages for Week 27.  This 365 something project was created in part and hosted by Hanna at i Hanna.

Additionally, for the next two months, I will be sharing my Index Cards or ICADs that are hosted by Tammy at Daisy Yellow.  The collage cards will always come first and the ICADs will be second.

In case you missed them, here are Week 26's cards.  As I'm sure you know by now, I post every Monday morning for the previous week.  All my collages are 4" X 4" (10,16 cm X 10,16 cm) all my index cards are 3 x 5 inches (76.2 x 127 mm).

This week I was inspired to celebrate Independence Day.

Thank you so much for spending time with me today.  If you are playing in Hanna's 365 Something project, or Tammy's ICAD project, please let me know and I will be by to see what you are making.  Please let me know if you like any of these.  As always, I am extremely grateful for your continued support of both projects.

  2. Fantastic collage cards and lovely ICAD's this week again- oh wow the hearts are so clever .... what a good idea to concentrate on hearts ! And the collage titles always impress me!
You are a queen of illustrating and labeling and I am in awe of more and more artistic freedom showing up on the little works of art. Increasing handwriting and drawing ! And this just makes me so happy to see.
You are a continually progressing artist Elizabeth and this is a real gift !
    Happy new week dear friend!
    Hugs,Susi

  5. Hi. There I was gesso-ing the living daylights out of my index cards, and blowdrying them to keep them flat—and you did yours so simply. I love them all. Clearly I’ve been over-thinking this. I have been to the Daisy blog, but I thought I’d already missed the boat on her current challenge. I’m still trying to figure out Hanna’s blog.

I love your cards, and I love the flag.

  6. Another great art week for you. The haircut made me giggle. I noticed a bite out of the nice edging. Yup, I’ve had those haircuts, too. Thankfully, hair grows back. I like your hearts and flower ICAD. Makes me think of a rhyme my mother told me. Hearts and flowers go together. True friends may we part never.

  7. Another fantastic week Elizabeth! As always I love your titles. I loved ‘houseplant’ followed by ‘house with plants’. My favourite design on your 365 Somethings was your flag - so abstract and very well done. For your ICADs, I loved the extra lucky six-leaf clover and your cute little bird. Also I always love your stitching!
