I'm back online and NOT complaining, but want you to know it's taking me so much longer than I imagined to visit everyone. After using my friend/neighbor Sally's fast cable, this DSL is like dial-up. And my computer guru/strong man Scott's phone is amazingly fast, too. To think a phone can be so much faster than this internet I pay so much for each month is beyond me. The sad thing is, I'll be gone most of the day because I'll be with Scott all day today. So I guess I should have said I'll visit when I get the chance.
But for now, here's a piece I created while offline. It's for Art Journal Journey and the host this month is Yvonne, who we know from her blog Meggy's Way. Her theme is "In my garden there is."

while the colorful butterflies flit and flutter above them.

just seen your comments on the latest Kew post. Sorry I'm still confusing you. you're right, they've rigged up one of the bee hives (I am sure I put this in one of my posts) elsewhere in the garden and the bees trigger the lights.. here is a link to their website which may help explain better than I am..

ReplyDeletexxx Hazel.
A lovely page and I really like the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteThis is so happy and cheerful and colourful, I love it. Love the flowers and the birds and the sewing.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'll certainly remember to plant happiness among my flowers, what great advice.
That's a super background Elizabeth. Finding things to stamp gives such cool results. Your page is bright and cheery and makes me happy. We are dark grey and wet again here so anything brought and cheery is good. But we need the rain badly (its officially a drought here) and hopefully this will put us back on normal track. What did wee use to do with no interest 20 years ago? Now we can't function without it. Have a great rest of your weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove these flowers! surprised to see you using pink of your own free will! LOL! glad you are back online...yes, we pay cable each month for our internet connection, as our phone/dial up just wasn't working any more for what we wanted to do. We do not buy cable tv channels however, just the internet service. Hope you have fun with Scott...happy Summer! ♥
