Unlike my imaginary, albeit real life journeys I have taken you on this month, this journey takes us on a fantasy trip.I began by spritzing some of my handmade shimmering mists.
I was incredibly impressed with this beautiful LaBlanche silicone stamp my friend Valerie sent me. I've never been much of a stamper, but I swear, these LaBlanche stamps could actually turn me into one. This was the first time I inked the stamp, and instead of trying it out first, I immediately stamped it onto the used file folder. I realize most people (most of all, me) have to break in a finely detailed stamp like this one, but not so with this LaBlanche hot air balloon. I'm actually hooked!
Some of you may remember I received this wonderful bicycle stamp from Chris that I placed inside the house that is being carried up and away. The excess thread from sewing the roof to the house became the conduit between the house and the balloon.Thanks for joining me on this fantasy journey today. I am always appreciative of your visits. Wonderful journal page, those splodges of colour give it a very ethereal look, gorgeous. Love the idea of the balloon towing away the house and bike. ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Elizabeth. I love your spritz background and I am with you, those LaBlanche stamps are really pretty. It would be fun if one could hook their house up to a balloon and move to a new place, just land it down and see if the grass is really greener in another spot. I think the background is just perfect for the theme of a balloon-kind of like pretty air/sky. Hope its a great Thursday for you. And thanks for all your support too. I really appreciate it.
