Guest artist gives gift of time
Today I'm thrilled to receive the greatest gift anyone could give: the gift of time. My friend Chris at pearshapedcrafting is a guest artist today while I prepare for the final week of recycling, renewing, and/or repuposing.
Please visit Chris's blog post for all the details of how she made this. She explained that the page began like many she likes to use: a mop up page. For some reason, this works quite well in Chris's journals. The heart was created with part of a coke can which was put in an embossing folder and then inked with alcohol inks. She wove scraps of paper, some of which she stamped and all of which she had previously colored. The flower was created in the same way, although the stamps are new ones she purchased during her recent trip to Paris.
I am so grateful that Chris sent this journal page to me that included recycled and repurposed papers and a coke can.
This is Day 17 and my friend Chris was a guest artist whose bEARTHday gift to me was time and a beautiful journal page that I hope inspired you.
Thanks for visiting and PLEASE visit Chris to see it on her blog. Thanks, too, for sticking with me through these recycling days in April.
