Craft Barn's latest letter is G

I've finally found time to share Craft Barn's latest alpha/dictionary entry which is the letter G.  I've had this ready since Sunday, but other posts were already scheduled.  I had trouble deciding on which word to choose.  So many words, so little time.  That's why I couldn't limit myself to only one word this time.

I'm all about time.  I even have an entire altered book relating to time.

I've made calendar art until I'm blue in the face, although I never included the G word before. 

Nor did I think to include the definition of Gregorian calendar, so I made up for it on this page.   Ironically, the day after I finished this spread, I was given an entire box of old calendars.  I mean OLD.  Some from the late 1960s all the way to 1980.  Wish I'd waited a day to finish this page.  Looks like I'll be working on another altered book.  Maybe I'll call it Gregorian calendar art!


This is a very simple page and I wanted to include it because I've had this Geronimo tag for several years and finally found a way to incorporate it in my art.

The American Heritage Dictionary I am using was a bit too brief for my taste.  And Geronimo looks really mean in this picture in the dictionary.

Although I scanned and printed the back side in black (I have no colored ink at the moment), I thought you might be more interested in seeing the full color piece I scanned before I glued it to the page.  This certainly makes Geronimo look far more favorable than we (in the U.S.) learned about him in school.

EDIT: Since many had never heard of the National Museum of the American Indian, I should add that it is part of the Smithsonian Institution system.  It is located on the National Mall in Washington D.C.  As with all Smithsonian museums, admission is always free.
