Journal 52, Week 50: Sparkle and Shine.

For Week 50 at Journal 52, Chelle's prompt is Sparkle and Shine.  And what better way to sparkle and shine than to get out the glitter?

So here is a winter inspired page filled with glitter.

Left over from tip-ins I made two years ago, this tree was already shiny, with its baubles and sewn garland.

The middle branch shows the week number.

Snowmen, this time stamped and not drawn by me, took on a bit of glitter as they waved to Chelle and all the J52 participants.

For this entry, I included my file folder, the back of last week's doodles.  The background color is the same, but this week, I went with straight lines, rather than swirls.  I also used a snowman stamp, glitter glue that took forever to dry, deep blue, black and red pigment ink, a leftover sewn tree, and a gold ink pen.

Thanks as always for looking.  Your comments make me feel that this is all worthwhile.  And please remember, even though the word verification captcha sign is there, all you have to do is hit "publish" for the comment to immediately appear.  As I've said before, I never want anyone to have to jump through hoops in order to leave me a comment.

  1. Google is annoying a lot of people at the moment with this silly captcha episode, hope it gets taken off very soon but can't see it being done since they just bought the company...

  4. I've been reading the google forum's reports on the captcha issue, and it seems related to pop-up as opposed to embedded comments. They say it's complicated. I bet it is! I hope they solve it soon. It doesn't bother me one way or the other, but some folks have a lot of difficulty navigating it.
