Day 12 of 30 paintings in 30 days

I'm once again linking to Leslie Saeta at Slices of Life for Day 12 of 30 paintings in 30 days.

I want to thank everyone for your lovely comments on my 9/11 post from yesterday, and give you today's abstract called "The Eye."  The size of this is 8" X 10" (20,32 cm X 25,4 cm).

As always, thanks for looking.  I hope you see the eye the same way I did.

  5. Yes, I can see the eye but at first glance this looks very floral to me. Like some of the greenery with lavender blossoms I see around here.

  7. Hi E!
Since I've been MIA most of this week I did some scrolling, and nosing around.

Yes I see the eye. I think it is great the way your naming each piece of art.

You altered playing cards also turned out great. Love the crow on them.

Your tribute to 911 was really nice. It always brings tears to my eyes too. Last time I was in NYC they just about had it all cleaned up, and I stood at the fence and cried. Now I'd love to go back and see the memorial. Maybe some day.

  13. Very pretty and very organic. I see a beautiful abstract, but no eye. Isn't it interesting how we each bring our own perspective to this type of work? Love it!
