Don't forget Museum Day Live

Once again I've ordered my tickets for Museum Day, sponsored by the Smithsonian.

Doesn't this look good framed?  Unfortunately, you can't read much.

So I lost the frame and now you can see it better.  In case you can't read the url, it is:

http://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/venues/

Hopefully, you can find a museum in your area that will offer free tickets on that day.  Maybe it's one you have wanted to visit, but the cost was too prohibitive.  Maybe it was one that was not in your home city.  Regardless, I hope you take advantage of Smithsonian's really generous once-a-year event.

Remember, two tickets per household for this event.  I've already ordered my tickets.   The date is September 27, so you have lots of time to find a venue.

Please be aware, this offer is for people who live in the US only.  I understand have been told many European museums are free anyway.

  2. Thx for the heads-up. We have 3 participating museums, and I'm a member at 2 of them. Sweet :)

I got a kick out of this: "This venue will accept your Museum Day Live! ticket on the screen of your smartphone." One of these days I'll try to replace my phone and the "smart phone" will be the only option.I feel downright archaic with my non-smart phone lol

  5. Wonderful! You'll have a great day. Our art museums are mostly free, with entrance payable only on specially imported exhibits.
