AW, funny I'm not really thinking of my late Dad particularly today as the anniversary of his passing in on Wednesday (18th) which is a whole lot more poignant to me. Sometimes the anniversary falls on Father's Day and that is a killer. BJ

ReplyDeleteThat's really cute and probably rings true for a lot of dads! I'm glad you liked my man collage - yes it was supposed to be funny so I'm glad it hit your funny bone. When my dad was alive I might have tried to make it into a fathers' day postcard. Although my dad had a good sense of humour and didn't really like mushy cards I don't think this would have been quite up his alley so I actually had a bit of a giggle thinking of what his reaction would have been had I given him this one.
ReplyDeleteI am very blessed to still have my dad going strong...he will be 82 this year! unfortunately, he will not get a hand made card this year (gasp!) because I was working on a scrapbook for him...the card I bought had a primitive cartoon with a dad on the front holding a baby in a diaper at arm's length. Inside it says "thanks for putting up with all my crap! Happy Father's Day!" a bit crude I suppose, but pretty funny too. Enjoyed this cute cartoon from your friend- it is classic! hugs dear...

ReplyDeleteHello dear friend! Just wanted to stop by and wish you a good week. I'm going to be busier then normal this week and won't be able to post on Tuesday. I should be ok for next week though. Sad to miss all the fun. Will be doing my ICAD and some SOC fun I'm sure but just not much computer time.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to thank you for your suggestion regarding the SOC - I KNOW, right? There are so many of us playing that it's hard to keep up! Unfortunately, it would be difficult to follow link numbers as they are often changing. Due to the fact that the giveaway is taken from the link list, I often have to remove or change links that either did not follow the criteria or accidentally linked to the wrong page. SO in the past people have given their numbers, only to have them changed by me :/
Thank you for your thought though, I promise I can take all the help and suggestions that I get ;) xoxo
