Friday Smiles # 51: Baby it's cold

It's Friday and time to join Annie at A Stitch in Time for Friday Smiles.  There's not much to smile about at my house right now.

I'm sure this will put a smile on my face in a few decades when I look back and reminisce, but today all I can think of is how cold it was Thursday morning in my house.  In case you can't tell (and YES, this old camera sucks), there is ice on Bleubeard's water dish.  You will note that Bleubeard is nowhere in sight.  He is the smart one who is snuggled in my bed near the space heater.

Although this doesn't exactly put a smile on MY face, I hope it will on a few of yours.  After all, you are probably not living in a deep freeze and are feeling especially thankful this isn't your place.

Please don't forget to visit Annie for links to some REAL smiles today.

  5. Okay I must have missed something--where is your new camera and why are you using the old one??
Hot tea and rice bags warmed up in the microwave, place blanket over body and snuggle down.
We are getting back to normal temps for this time of year so hopefully you will too!
    Happy Friday!

  6. I reckon you should join Bleubeard next to that heater, with plenty of wheat bags and hot drinks as Nan suggested. Hope things warm up for you very soon. Take care. xx Maggie

  9. This reminds me of why I moved to Spain, so it certainly puts a smile on my face. And I will remember it the next time I am complaining that it is cold out here! Kate x

  12. Well, son of a gun, ice in poor Bleubeard's dish. OH no, I'm gonna have to send over Harley and the Rat to help you all out. I am so glad you received my gift - I literally was thinking about today hoping it had not been lost in the mail. I have a marvelous time making the Dundee book for you and the make a bag portion was from a Zine I had for years. ROFL and the paper bags - years old.... OK, you are making me feel guilty. I promise I will try to post more. In fact I am doing an experiment right now... more later, girlfriend. Enjoy that DVD! I knew it had your name on it.

Good you pointed out the ice I would not have known from the photo...

hope it warms up for you very soon!
