Flag Day Tea

Today is Flag Day in the United States.

It is not considered a Federal holiday, so most Federal offices will be open. This is purely an American holiday, celebrating the US flag. So today, my hand made tea cup is poised to celebrate this annual event in which Americans are asked to fly their flags.

How much bigger can you get than this flag I found on Wikipedia?

Enjoy this special tea day by joining Kimmie where the links to this fun blog hop are kept.

And as an update, I still can't leave comments on any blog with embedded comments. I thought by changing to a different version of Firefox, suggested by Cheryl, that it might correct the problem. But even that hasn't helped. Thanks to those who visit and if you don't have an e-mail listed on your blog or profile page, I can't reply back.

I don't know what embedded comments means ... I don't use word verification. I did switch to Google Chrome and haven't had problems since. I know if you uncheck stay signed in then you can usually leave comments; that's what I did before updating to Chrome. Hope you get it figured out.

    Best wishes, Tammy

  14. Yes! Happy flag day!! Also known as my grandmother's birthday (although she is passed). We have had our flag flying ever since the brave navy seals got Bin Laden. We'll probably fly it until labor day :)

    Happy tea to you! Kimmie
