A lovely birthday surprise

My friend Billie, who gave me the bag that was filled with what she called "junk" on my birthday, stopped by and took me to lunch this week.

It was a real surprise, but I'm sure you can tell where

we went: Billie's favorite restaurant.

I knew when we arrived that she would be getting one of those lobsters. I wonder which one ended up on her plate.

I took this really bad photo before our meal came. The lighting was bad, and I simply couldn't get a good photo, although Billie says it's because of her age (she is 79 years young).

Here is Billie, preparing to enjoy this feast.

And although I couldn't get a good photo of it, I had a three shrimp feast of some kind I can't remember the name of. I hope you have a wonderful fun filled day. I will be working in my basement at least part of the day.

  1. Ummmm, now you have me confuffled because I thought you were a veggie... but now you are eating poor little shrimpy things... but I don't blame you - sea food is the bestest food ever! How lovely for you to go out and have a treat and Billie's lobster was the little guy, three from the right.... ;)

  10. :)
Billie, the very nice and generous friend, cracks me up with her refusal to smile for the camera.

You are lucky to have such a super duper friend to take you out to eat for your birthday.

I love going out to eat, as I will not cook, so
    if Billie needs another friend,

    tell her I am available.

    Again, happy birthday :)
