Today's desk looks quite bland. I'm drying some fabric I rusted for two days, while WOYWWendy looks on. The white rocking horse is one that you saturate the inside with essential or fragrance oil and the oil seeps out the pores of the ceramic-like horse. There's a tiny cork in the bottom that holds the fragrance in. I've never been quite sure what the material is, but I know it is a super scent diffuser. The other horse is one commonly found at Christmas in the US. For those of you who don't know about my horses, I have promised to show one or more of my collection each week. Click for a (hopefully) better view.Today's blog of choice is Paula's Paper Playground. Paula only started her blog in January of this year, but her life has had several ups and downs since then. Now she is hopefully on track for pain therapy, which will have her crafting again really soon. After all, Paula makes cards. She makes lovely cards. ReplyDeleteI have fabric in our shop that yes has rusted naturally- kinda cool but don't know what I will do with it yet. We have had 106 degree weather now (was thinking of one of your posts) and don't feel like doing much of anything. Indian summer- it's beautiful but slows me down.

ReplyDeleteDon't worry - I don't love blood - True Blood is a TV series based on a set of (yes you guessed it) vampire novels. So the Rolling Stones cover is the 3 main actors promoting the show. I am actually quite squeamish when it comes to 'real' blood and can't watch things like hospital shows where they do reality stuff... and slasher flicks are a definite no no. Just can't watch. But pretend monsters - them I love :)
