No place like home: a map swap 4 X 4

Sometimes things just come together, and I'm really quite proud of this spread, which is the back side of my "Georgia on my mind" map 4 X 4.

The idea of the swap was to use maps in creative ways to decorate a 4 X 4. I loved the lovely background paper, so didn't want to cover it completely. I cut 1 1/2" squares of a Kansas map and adhered them to CS, rotating each piece 90 degrees. I used some iron on scraps to make the "ruby slippers." They sparkle a lot more than in the photo.

I'm not always in love with things I make, but I have to admit, I really like this piece and the other side, too.
