I scrape the leftovers into a plastic tub, leave it to dry, then break it up into lumps or 'crumbles'. Paint a tile black (makes a great contrast) and lay your crumbles on it in any pattern you choose. This is then placed in the kiln as is and the kiln does the rest! Do you have a local paint a pot place where you could have a go? Thanks to Kelly over at 365tile-a-day on wordpress and facebook for the idea!Sarah Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08746759211357915712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14359045.post-20373014009200325032011-09-28T13:38:55.102-05:002011-09-28T13:38:55.102-05:00num num nummy...i could use some limeade today! ha...num num nummy...i could use some limeade today! happy t tuesday!!*jean*https://www.blogger.com/profile/03325374997441856732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14359045.post-39262269026613593012011-09-28T10:55:06.601-05:002011-09-28T10:55:06.601-05:00How funny that you would celebrate the end of summ...How funny that you would celebrate the end of summer. We of course all love to get them but rarely do I ever write them. Even replies to invitations now come enclosed with the invitation and all you do is tick a box if you are coming or not !! They are worried that the art of "hand writing" will disappear because all children know how to do is punch a keyboard these days. Good for you ! You have inspired me to write more. Nights are a bit cooler now and then but that's it. <br />I love writing 'real' letters, and used to do it often. I have one friend who still 'writes' to me and it is so nice to get her letters in the mail. So many of our post offices have closed in this area.
