I reckon that next year, when the house is sorted, I am turning my attention to the garden, which will include a lot of herbs. I lost most of mine over the past 12 months, but I used to make my own mint tea, lemon balm and chamomile. I also grew my own ginger last year and harvested the root, which was good as I love ginger in so many things. Sorry my drink is a bit on the boring side, but it is what I am drinking most of the time at the moment. Have a good week. xx MaggieMaggieC (Silvercrafter)https://www.blogger.com/profile/13560733295194874288noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14359045.post-6254484567000113822013-07-30T08:39:03.752-05:002013-07-30T08:39:03.752-05:00Quick hello Elizabeth as I am on the run this morn...Quick hello Elizabeth as I am on the run this morning. I am so glad we met up again and especially to share new fun things. Thank you sooooo much for your kind words on my scrapping, means a lot to me. My storytelling is such a big part of me for years before I dived into this art world. Oh dear, I didn't think about others reading my blog and mixing my daughter's name up with the season. I'm glad you finally figured it out, lol. She is the sweetest part of my summer days, born in a hot hot July 15 years ago and can't stand her name.
I'm glad you came back to visit me again, with the kids still home my blogging isn't very regular but I'm hoping to do more now or at least soon when school starts back up.
I just posted my mandala and another PL story so come by and visit again please if you can. Hoping to come by later and check out these link ups for your T week. I just ...Hello again, you have been busy this week. I just caught up on your posts and LOVE LOVE them!! Just saw your name over on Dawn's blog and had to come look and see what you made.
How cute is this T idea, I'm a huge tea drinker and never thought to grow my own tea. I have also been drawing pots like these for two weeks now. Glad to see you have kept busy with SOC being over.
I found Dawn's blog a short time ago and love her mandala's, soooo pretty and amazing each time. To my surprise while out weeding today it hit me that I should try and make one. Even had the little ones I watch help me gather stuff and start it in the driveway. Just like you said don't do it in the wind, haha, we brought it all inside and started over. I was sooo excited, it's nothing as beautiful as hers but WOW just the fun of it and having the kids help made me smile.
I LOVE LOVE the one you made below, so pretty and lots of green like mine. Hoping to post it very soon on my blog, hope you can come check it out.
I like your T idea here and might try to do that next week. Will give me good practice on drawing teacups or teabags or something I guess. Should be fun.
I know this is long already, had so much to say. But I saw and LOVE your SOC book, it looks wonderful and so pretty. I like to use paint chips and making houses is a favorite of mine too. BEAUTIFUL!!

Ok, now that I wrote you a book I must go and get things done. Hope to see you soon and YAY now we can do Mandala's together. dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07763553809671436129noreply@blogger.com
