T Stands For Math

Do you remember this mug I showed a few years ago to which many felt they could relate?

The last time I was at The Spice Merchant, I found a mug to which I could relate.

This is one mug I really would love to own.  Yes, I'm a math geek.

I love all these formulas I learned (mostly) in Calculus and Differential Equations classes.  Of course, like everything in life, if you don't use it, you lose it.

I had forgotten so many of these formulas and this mug brought them back to life for me.

I've shown you mine, now it's your turn to share your T entry this week.  The rules are extremely simple.  Your drink related post may be anything from a photo of a glass, cup, or mug, to an actual drink.  You may choose to share a sketch or a digital, hybrid, or traditional page in your scrapbook, art journal, or altered book.  Maybe you'd prefer to share a tag, or wow us with your photography.  You might choose a postcard or decorated card.  You might even draw an image on a used tea bag.  Or perhaps you prefer to review a place you visited, a movie, or book.  It makes no difference as long as it's drink related.  And don't forget that the more unique and outside the box it is, the better we like it.  Please tie it back here, and please link only to your T post, not your entire blog.  When you link, Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit.   Bleubeard would also like to remind you that your photos may be taken any time.   This link will be active until Thursday, 2 July at 12 a.m. my time.

Don't forget it's time to dig up your Second on the 2nd.  Any genre, any length, as long as it's been published sometime in the past.

  1. Those mugs are fun. The second one not only has math but it has some physics. I also like how it names what a lot of these equations are. I guess for those that struggle with math. (Like the 4 out of 3- ha ha!) Have a super T day last day of June. hugs-Erika

  3. I never did calculus. I never got that far in Maths. But as an adult I know Maths to be beautiful. I find it fascinating (that bit that I do understand). Unfortunately I didn't have inspiring teachers at school. My first maths teacher was Dr Manusama. He was a sweet guy but he was president of South Molucca in exile while the freedom fight was going on, so he had his mind on other things. Then I got taught by 'The Twins'. Two guys, identical twins, who were weird geeks and dribbled and I hated them. They wanted me to continue myn maths classes but, in the days before the calculator, I never got a right answer as I'm not good in arithmatic and this discouraged me. I was the only one in the class who knew how to solve the problem but never got the right answer. So I stopped taking maths. I did some as an adult and liked it, but never took it any further as I don't need it.
    Happy TY-Day

  4. Dear Elizabeth, I'm more of the 4 out of 3 kind of person 🤪😂 - formulas and numbers have always overwhelmed me... In short: math isn't my thing. But I still like the mug.
All the best from (very hot) Austria 🤗

  5. Oh, I must look for the math-mug I got Ingo!
Hihi, when I came back from Cuba my boss - a math-guy who knows I love to read - asked what my book was, I didn´t come further that "Rudy Rucker´s 4th dim..." - "You are supposed to relax, not read about math on your holiday!!!"
For the record: I didn´t get the end...

  7. The math mugs are really fun. I have an I <3 Math t-shirt. I keep throwing around the idea of covering the downstairs bathroom walls with math pages...It would be the downstairs "mathroom" ...go there to work out a problem. :) Too much?? LOL

  9. I am always in awe of people that can do math and understand it. Somehow my son gets it and we homeschooled-he must have a leapfrog brain that ignored my fear of math. He's way out into tech and doing amazing things at an AI company. I'm so proud of him!

  11. I have good math skills, so I am very good with managing my money. However, advanced math is not my strength, so I admire your strength. Happy T Stands for Tuesday!
