It's Friday and time for ICADs.

Welcome to Week 1.  Every Friday I will show my ICADs.  Not familiar with ICADs?  It stands for Index-Card-A-Day.  It is the brainchild of Tammy Garcia of Daisy Yellow.  This is her 16th year and my 14th.  Index cards come in different sizes.  This year I'm using 3 X 5 inches (8 X 13 cm).

I'm also joining Nicole for Friday Face-Off and Gillena for Art For Fun Fridays.

ICAD Rev № 16 Starts June 01

In case you missed it, this is the first time in 14 years of playing, that I created a cover for my ICADs.

Some of you may also have seen Day 1.  I showed it on June 1.
Day 1: Dance.  Dictionary page background.  Two dry erase markers, green and red.  Christmas jester postage stamp.  Names written in purple Micron pen.

Day 2: Journey. Russian text. 1932 Packard postage stamp. Brown and red dry eraser ink.  Names in black Posca pen.

Day 3: Mellow. Background crossword. Postage stamp is carousel horse.  Red and blue dry eraser ink. Names in blue felt tip pen.

Day 4: Retro.  Background encyclopedia text. Independence Hall postage stamp.  Red and blue dry erase markers. Names in red felt tip marker.

Day 5: Leap.  Background foreign (Spanish?) text. Frog postage stamp.  Brown and green dry erase markers. Names in green felt tip marker.

I'm playing along, but I'm not on the sites where Tammy of Daisy Yellow posts.  As I have said in the past, this is the ONLY place you will find Bleubeard's and my ICADs.

Today I'm also joining Nicole at Friday Face OFF, and Gillena at Art For Fun Friday.

Friday Face OFF

  2. Fun ones (and thank you for giving cm. I´ll NEVER get the inches thing - but I have a frog here who does.... yes, a frog. He likes to just sit and snuggle his fly and says thank you for doing his job).

  4. Another ICAD year. My favorite is Mellow with the blue stripe and the carousel stamps. Wow 25 cents for first class mail in 1988.
