This post is for T Stands For Tuesday. If your T Tuesday post and your Second Look are the same, please add your link both places.
The last time I was at The Spice Merchant was in mid-January.
Imagine my surprise when I walked in to get my "free" pound of Dark Sumatra coffee.
Many of you have seen these same shelves through my photos. They have never, ever looked like this before.
It didn't matter where I stood,
all of the shelves were nearly bare. I was aghast.
I've shown you mine, now it's your turn to share your T entry this week. The rules are extremely simple.
Your drink related post may be anything
from a photo of a
glass, cup, or mug, to an actual drink. You may choose to share a sketch or a digital,
hybrid, or traditional page in your scrapbook, art journal, or altered
book, as I have done. Maybe you'd prefer to share a tag, or wow us with your photography. You might
choose a postcard or decorated card. You might even draw an image on a used tea bag. Or
perhaps
you prefer to review a place you visited, a movie, or book. It makes no
difference as long as it's drink related. And don't forget that the
more unique and outside the box it is, the better we like it. Please tie
it back here, and pleaselink only to your T post, not your entire blog. When you link,
Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit. Bleubeard
would also like to remind you that your photos may be taken any time.
Please remember this link is for T Stands For Tuesday. If your T Tuesday post and your Second Look are the same, please add it both places.
I wonder if they had a huge Christmas sell out, couldn't get any new stock, or they aren't going carry mugs any more. Did they tell you? If they weren't all on sale I'm guessing they're still going to carry mug and they just don't have new ones to put out. I hope when you go get your next batch of coffee or when you got one in February they were restocked. Happy T day. hugs-Erika
Let's hope they're not closing down but have just not had time to re-stock on mugs. I assume you asked. What did they say? Some of those mugs were quite expensive. I can't believe they have sold them all! Happy T-Day, Lisca
I saw you can comment again. Hope it will go on. So nice to hear from you. As I added my second posts here inadvertantly I link my posts of the week too. Happy T-day and all the best Violetta
Hello Elizabeth! I hope that the business was good and that they are not closing down. Hope all is well with you. I am going to catch up with your posts. I see some lovely artwork! :) Have a lovely rest of the week!
Your thoughts are very important to Bleubeard and me. I appreciate it when you care enough to stop by and even more when you leave a short message letting me know you were here.
I don't want to ever turn on comment moderation, so when I find comments that don't relate to my blog content, your comment will immediately be deleted.
So sorry that you cannot comment at this time...My two entries are from three years ago.
ReplyDeleteHave a good time and all the best

I think they are clearing out old, seasonal stock to make room for fresh, new wares. Happy T Day

ReplyDeleteWhy are they empty? The tarrifs? I'd be angry if tarrifs affected my coffee. I need it to survive....or just a Valentine's day rush on mugs?
ReplyDeleteI came back to say I loved seeing a comment from you! And the , I could even comment back on my blog. What happened? Did blogger do something?
ReplyDeleteWhat's going on? They aren't going out of business are they?
ReplyDeleteSo, glad you are able to comment again. Woot. Woot. Missed ya.
ReplyDeleteOh, dear Elisabeth – that looks strange. Did you ask what's going on? Are new deliveries expected, or is the shop closing?
I read that you can comment again – congratulations!
I'm late, but I wanted to link my new post to yours today. I hope that's okay.
All the best, Traude
