T Stands For Ceramic Mugs

For those of you who visited last week, you read I was headed to The Spice Merchant as soon as I scheduled my post.  I know better than to visit during December.  There were no parking spaces anywhere near the shop and there were people coming in and out as fast as mosquitoes land on my arms in summer.  I knew I would never be able to stand in line that long, so gave up and came home with no coffee.  Not a problem.  I still have an ample supply.

My friend Scott was here over Christmas and he did a bit of maintenance on my computer.  I thought he might get my "Failed to Publish, Try Again Later" message to go away, but that didn't happen.  I hope blogger gets its act together soon, because my readers and followers are getting tired of me making these excuses.

I found these ceramic mugs while I was there before.

I was really shocked at the cost of these.  Who knew they would be that expensive.  Certainly not me!  In case you can't read the prices, these are all $25.99 (USD).

I've shown you mine, now it's your turn to share your T entry this week.  The rules are extremely simple.  Your drink related post may be anything from a photo of a glass, cup, or mug, to an actual drink.  You may choose to share a sketch or a digital, hybrid, or traditional page in your scrapbook, art journal, or altered book, as I have done.  Maybe you'd prefer to share a tag, or wow us with your photography.  You might choose a postcard or decorated card.  You might even draw an image on a used tea bag.  Or perhaps you prefer to review a place you visited, a movie, or book.  It makes no difference as long as it's drink related.  And don't forget that the more unique and outside the box it is, the better we like it.  Please tie it back here, and please link only to your T post, not your entire blog.  When you link, Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit.   Bleubeard would also like to remind you that your photos may be taken any time.

Don't forget to dig up your Second on the 2nd post.  It can be any genre, any length, as long as it has been published sometime in the past.

  1. I don't think Scott can fix your Blogger problem. I think it is because Blogger doesn't like your Operating System. Change you OS to a more common one and you won't have any problems. But I know that's not what you want. Is it Linux you have? I can't remember.
Nice mugs by the way (but not so nice prices!).
Happy T-Day and Happy New Year!

  3. I like those mugs. They are a bit pricey, but not as bad as some I saw at a craft show where they were asking $45 for a mug. Really? The blue ones are a bit like a couple I have that the school librarian gave me when I got married way back when. I still have them. and they always make me think of her, even though she passed many years ago. Have a super T day and rest of 2025. hugs-Erika

  4. Perfect mugs but their price is prohibitive (at least for me). That's how it is here these days the market is full of people! May the new year be full of Peace, Love, Joy and Creativity!!

  5. Dear Elizabeth, it was lovely that your friend Scott was with you. I hope you had a pleasant Christmas. These ceramic mugs are pretty – and probably handmade. That explains the price difference compared to mass-produced, machine-made goods...

All the best and a happy start to a good New Year (maybe with a better-functioning blogger program!?!?)

  6. Did you ever try to after copying your words to press F5 or close the tap and reopen? This works for me. Blogger bugs me often, too. I use Firefox, maybe try another browser?
Nice mugs - oh, I use the same always now, a shame actually. And... as clumsy as I am I sure would not pay so much ;-)
I am wishing you soon a great start into 2026! To a fun, healthy and great New Year!

  7. Wow those mugs are lovely but too $$$ for me. Hope you had a nice Christmas. I'm sure I mentioned this before but are you sure you are logged into your Google account when you try to post and if so, does your browser block cross-site tracking or 3rd party cookies? I did that once as I was being super cautious and tightened up my cookie management and guess what happened - I couldn't comment! You may need to relax your security to allow cross-site tracking or 3rd party cookies to post your comment.
Anyway the good news is you can comment on my posts anytime since I'm not a blogger blog :) Happy T Day! xx

  9. I've seen that type of mug before. I think the handle is a special kind of "pocket" so you can warm your hands. My favorite is the one with the light blue top. Happy T Day

  10. Beautiful mugs! I know they are expensive now-I looked at a local shop for some and didn't buy one. I really liked what they had-they were so pretty-but I'll use my old ones for a while!
Hope you can get your computer or Blogger problems solved. I'm sure you have done the 'help' section in Blogger where people ask questions.

  11. It's so frustrating when the tech side lets you down. Happy New Year to you offline and on!
