Heads Will Roll

 

I'm sharing this Halloween inspired spread with Elle (eotc), our host this month at Art Journal Journey.  Her themes are Steampunk, Halloween, or Steampunk Halloween. Because the spread has faces (cat, skulls, witch) I'm also sharing this with Nicole and Friday Face Off.

I call this monochromatic spread Heads Will Roll.  Details are below.






I fussy cut five skulls, but could only get four on this spread, which is 11 X 8.5 inches.  I cut the gravestones to size that I colored using a black Posca pen.  I added the black cat and the crosses I made years ago from a rubber eraser.  I computer generated the sentiment and added it to the page.  Finally, I added the witch on a broomstick, which is a red rubber wood mounted stamp that slipped as I was adhering it to the page.
