Recycled review

I didn't have a chance to create the post I wanted to, but I thought I would show some of my past recycled projects I've created.

Lots of folks liked the keys I turned into brooches.

  These too.

  And these,

  this,

  and this.

I made this for my friend Sally for her birthday one year.

Then there are other projects I've made from recyclables.

  Old wood and flowers.

  Hanging.

Used dryer sheets, part of an old lacy tablecloth, image holder I cut from stained leather, image of the Last Supper, zipper pull, fancy fiber, and stick from my yard all sewn together.

Lots of scraps sewn to used file folder.

Started with one half of an old Reader's Digest Condensed book cover.  To that I added the gifted angel tissue paper.  I disassembled an old phone and used the board and amplifier. Added beads and green star beads from stash.

  Wet wipes.

I hope you enjoyed this look back at items I helped keep out of the landfill or recycle box.  Thanks for visiting today.  I am grateful.

  3. I like those key brooches. You've shown some before but I didn't realize how many you've made. They are fun. And so many other beautiful pieces of art too. I hope you had a great day yesterday, and have a good one today too. hugs-Erika

  5. Oh my gosh. So many lovely items. It would be fun to get one's everyday keys done like that. They'd be distinctive and easy to find.
And I love the yellow Iris clock.
