Today you will find me at Try It On Tuesday for the first time in several months. Seems I'm always a bit late coming up with ideas. In fact, this the last day you can enter their Rainbow Colors theme.
This is the red rubber wooden mount stamp I used to create this entry. It is a 2002 Alisa Baker design. It reminded me of rocking horses, which is why I purchased it.
I worked on the opposite side of a used file folder I cut in half, then colored with inks using my fingers. The inks are nearly gone, so I doubt I'll get much more ink. I attempted to create this rainbow colored entry by first stamping the bunnies using black Staz-on solvent ink. Of course, I am a horrible stamper and the last bunnies slipped on the substrate. Still, I tried to move forward, believing these bunnies were actually hopping along (it's my story and I'm sticking to it). I colored each of the bunnies using watercolor pencils and the sentiment using ROY G BIV. I determined that the lines I colored on the computer generated sentiment would have been better had my watercolor pencils been sharp.
This is Day 14 of 22 and I repurposed half a used file folder and used the rest of my leftover ink. Please also join me today at Try It On Tuesday.
After seeing Elke's post on Easter bunnies, I realized I should also share that at Art Journal Journey using Erika's spring theme. Thank you ever so much for visiting as I recycle different things leading up to bEARTHday.

A lovely page Elizabeth, love those rocking bunnies. Your little 'stamping accident' makes him look super charged with a double rocker, definitely the fastest.
