T Stands For Random Mugs

This has been another week from He]].  I have been without electricity for four and a half days.  Before you ask, ALL my utilities (phone, internet, gas, electric, and water) are all on auto-pay, so that was the furthest thing from my mind.

High winds (registered over 70 mph) snapped the electric cable that brings electricity to my home.  As a result, I had no heat, no phone, no internet, etc.  Even my new furnace has an electric starter.  I finally asked to borrow my neighbor's phone and reported the outage.  It still took the electric company over a day for them to string a new line to the house.  I wasn't sure I was going to make T Tuesday on time, but I hope to be just under the wire (so to speak).

These mugs don't fall in any single category, so I am calling them random mugs.

Pretty flowers caught my eye here.

I've shown you mine, now it's time to share your own drink related post.  It can be photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T participants.  Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Bleubeard would like to remind you that old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year.  Please remember to visit your fellow T participants.

  3. The frequency of power failures at your house is very concerning! I hope at least that spring weather will soon make them less horrendous.
    Those are very nice mugs!

  4. They have wonderful mugs, don't they? Another power failure? Yes, as Mae said, concerning.

  7. That wind was brutal here, so I can see how you lost power since yours was a bit stronger than at my house. We had winds at 50-60 mph, and I was worried about the power. I hope it wasn't brutally cold since you had no heat. Glad to read your power is back. And you shared some great mugs too

  9. So sorry to learn you have again been out of power again and in that cold, too... hope that was the last one for now and that Spring and warm weather is on the way. Great mugs. I always use my Rexi but Ingo changes mugs all the time. I would not let him in there ;-)
To a warm week... at least inside!

  10. That's a long time without power! Poor you. I'm glad it's all fixed now. We get regular power outages as I live out in the country, but I have a lot of stuff on gas. I have a gas heater (bottled gas) and my cooker and oven are gas (Butane, orange bottles) too.The water heater is gas (I have an electric heater too in the other bathroom) and I even have a gas lamp on Camping Gas.(The small blue bottles). And I have the best power bank I could buy, to charge my phone.
But I wouldn't like to to cope with 4 days without electric. I don't particularly like camping and 4 days without power would be camping in your own house.
Anyway, you have power again. That's the main thing.
More pretty mugs. Just for looking though as I think they are quite expensive (nearly 20 $).
If it's any consolation, the weather is atrocious here too.
    Happy T-Day,
    Lisca

  14. Oh my goodness! No wires in to the house, I bet you just went into a dizzy fit! I know I did when next doors fence fell onto the caple taking the internet and electic out to my Johns 'mancave' it was just after he'd passed and the caple was tangled up in Jasmine and Bay tree bushes, I had to get in to cut it free, I definitely had a panically hissy fit!! yours must have been a million times worse! Love the mugs! I really wish that shop was near me!! Have a great week. Happy T day...not too late this week! ((Lyn))

  16. I hate losing power. We have looked into getting a whole house generator but haven't wanted one bad enough to shell out that kind of money (yet). Glad you got it all back and could make your post in time.

Great mugs - they have a super collection at that store.

    Take care, Elizabeth. Hugz
