I'm once again joining Erika, our host this month at Art Journal Journey. Most of you know by now, her theme is Home Sweet Home.
I began by painting a sheet of deli paper that I adhered to 110 lb cardstock when it was dry. I then adhered a single ply of a napkin that I thought reminded me of a tablecloth. While the paint was drying, I fussy cut the bowl of lettuce and the plate of spicy pork, crunchies, and mostly assembled wraps. Finally, I added the words. For those of you who know me, you realize this is pure fiction because this vegetarian found the images in an old Better Homes and Garden magazine. However, I hope you will still join me at Art Journal Journey and Erika's Home Sweet Home theme.

...I love lettuce wraps.
ReplyDeleteThose look absolutely delicious, Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what is better looking, your page or those lettuce wraps. They look tasty. I like your tablecloth looking napkin and the layered deli paper. It makes a super page, and made me hungry too. :) Hope all is well, and thank you for joining AJJ again. It is really appreciated my friend. hugs-Erika
