Church

This will be my final entry for Art Journal Journey this month and also this year!  I'm once again joining the talented Sharon Fritchman, our host this month at Art Journal JourneyAs I'm sure you know by now, Sharon's theme is Snow.

I love this scene I found in my stash.  I think it may have been part of a Christmas card at one time, but I can't be sure.

I tried to be a poet with the sentiment which reads:

The church lights are a-glow

Amidst the freshly fallen snow.

I cut the image to size, then adhered it along with a piece of leftover cardstock I colored green to 110 lb cardstock.  I then added the computer generated text.

Bleubeard and I are simply thrilled you joined us and hope to see you at Art Journal Journey as you share your own interpretation of Snow.  There's still time to join in the fun before the end of the year.

  2. This is another perfect and pretty view for Sharon's theme at AJJ. There's even a wreath on the church so it's holiday festive. This is another nice page for AJJ, and I'm glad to see you joining in. I guess that means your head aches are gone. hugs-Erika

And I especially like the poem you created to use as your sentiment! It is PERFECT! And thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wonderful art journal challenge for the month of December! I really enjoyed it! Happy New Year! Hugs, Sharon
