Monday Murals: End Gun Violence Together

It's time once again to join Sami at Sami's Colourful World and her Monday Murals.  Even though it's still Sunday in my world, please be aware that Sami's mural link goes live at 11:01 a.m. my time today.

End Gun Violence Together is apparently the title of this mural.

It's really too bad I couldn't get closer because all the cars were parked there.

For the life of me, I couldn't make out the name of who I believe painted this mural.  An internet search of Wichita muralists didn't help.

I'm not sure what the significance of "Tom's" is.

This mural is located on the corner of Cleveland Avenue and Second Street in Wichita, Kansas (USA).

If you enjoy murals from around the world, please don't forget to visit Monday Murals at Sami's Colourful World.

  3. The artist chose an interesting way to use the black frame but have parts of the image outside the frame. I think gun violence will never end as long as we love our guns to death!

I don’t have a gun. I don’t love them. But death …. it lurks throughout out gun-loving country.

  5. Ending gun violence would be good. It's a pain when cars get in the way of a good photo.

  9. I found this link for your Elizabeth with details about this mural.
I so wish this was enough to stop gun violence! It's all too terrible and if Governments aren't the ones taking action, nothing will be done!
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Elizabeth.

  12. Our state is more interested in protecting everybody's ability to have unrestricted access to an arsenal than in protecting our right to life :(
