I'm once again joining Mia from Craftartista, our host at Art Journal Journey. Her theme is Fish.
I started this page by using a stencil to create my background using a shimmering mist. The design was very subtle and can barely be seen under the napkin I glued in place. I created the words in my software program and, after printing, I colored them using blue watercolor.Bleubeard and I
are delighted you dropped by today. We hope to see you at Art Journal Journey with your own take on Fish.

Just lovely - and I really like sea horses AND starfishes...
ReplyDeleteAnother fun page, Elizabeth. Hve a good Monday, 'see' you later at TsfT, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteClever one! To the Kings!
ReplyDeleteI loved the message in this work of art. And visually, it's quite appealing with it's simple lines.
ReplyDeleteI like how you used this napkin, and I like the subtle background. It doesn't overshadow the delicate images of the seastars and the seahorses. Fun quote too. Happy Monday. hugs-Erika

ReplyDeleteLove the starfish and crowns. Lovely page, Elizabeth. Perfect for the theme. Hugz
ReplyDeleteI love this page and the way you shared the quote with us, the napkin you used looks lovely, the sea horses look so small and as if they are playing chase around the starfish.

"Adapt" is good advice.
ReplyDeleteAnother super page - I think stencilling is your forte.
ReplyDeleteI like the page but also the idea behind it - the words are just perfect for this.
