Pumped

Let's join Wendy, our host this month at Art Journal Journey, with her Birds theme.

As you can see, today I made a simple entry in my Scraps altered book.

It's easy to tell where I got the title, which is Pumped.

For this page, which I created in my Scraps altered book, I started with the back of a yearly calendar to which I sewed the title of the computer generated sentiment.  For this, I used left-over copier/printer paper from a previous entry.  I used variegated thread on the title.  I really love the summertime look to this page and the vintage feel to this painting.

Thanks so very much for visiting Bleubeard and me today.  We sincerely hope to see you at Art Journal Journey with your own take on Birds.

I'm also joining AEDM.  Today is Day 25 and I created a journal page for Art Journal Journey.

  2. Beautiful, peaceful scene. I somehow expected the graphs to be about water flowing, yet "learned" quickly it is not ;-)

  4. This is a beautiful bluebird scene. I always get a thrill seeing bluebirds. We don't have them much at my house but at work I used to see them occasionally. I like the summertime feel and also the barn and the old truck in the background. I would like to be there right now. It is a bit cold here (again) this morning. Hope all is well. Hugs-Erika

  6. Bluebirds are such beautiful creatures! There are several pairs that live in out local botanical garden, and we see them pretty reliably for much of the year, though they seem to hide in winter. Or maybe go deeper into the trees — they aren’t migratory birds, so they must be somewhere around.
