I'm once again joining Sami at Sami's Colourful World and her Monday Murals. Even though it's still Sunday in my world, please be aware that Sami's mural link goes live at 11:01 a.m. my time today.
I had just photographed another mural and was walking back to the car when I noticed this on the side of a building.
It was quite dark under the tree, so I had to get closer. I have no idea what the fish represents, but I recognized the muralist
as Canary, whose art I have shown before. I have no idea what the 1125 is for because it couldn't be the address. It's located a half block off Douglas on Laura in Wichita, Kansas (USA). It's more than likely the 100 block of South Laura. If you enjoy murals from around the world, please don't forget to visit Monday Murals at Sami's Colourful World.
Lovely fish. Hope you have a great day, stay safe! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteYou sure took me by surprise as I saw the fish first, LOL! "Canary?!!", I thought... "Ours look different!".
ReplyDeleteCool paintings!
ReplyDeletebe well... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I wonder if the artist was trying to make some sort of pun between fish and cannery, but spelled it incorrectly? Cool fish.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed at all the murals you have in your city. I know that down town Eugene has a world of murals but getting down town is like going to the moon. LOL Have a great Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI really like unusual murals that stand out, yours definitely does that.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Maybe the 1125th mural. Only guessing. I like the fish, even if you don't know what it represents. I'm just impressed with all the murals you come across. They aren't common in my area. Have a great start to your week. Hugs-Erika

ReplyDeleteThe fish has been exposed to sunlight for too long because its color has faded considerably but as eyecather it hasn't lost its charm.
