Julia, our desker Queen and WOYWW host at Stamping Ground, didn't kick me out of the club last week, so I promise to be brief this week. As an update, I have received my ATCs from Neet (and one from Julia), so I will share those next week.
Today you find my desk filled with a few napkins I'll be working on
for my Second Thursday (of the month) tutorial tomorrow.
I've sorted them according to size, and now I must remove the lovely images from their multiple layered/ply backings.
Did you notice the cute tiny rocking horse? They aren't all large and they don't all rock. Some actually roll!Thank you for joining me today. I really, really wish I could visit everyone, but I'm only on blogger, not G+, Facebook, or Instagram. What a lovely collection of napkins Elizabeth, I find it so difficult to use mine, I think it's the peeling apart of them it seems so painful hee hee!!

Oh my goodness I absolutely LOVE that butterfly napkin - I must make sure I get to see what you do with it! I also love the cute little rolling horse - I'm wondering if you have any that both rock and roll and if so do they have blue suede hoofs. Sorry, gone off at a tangent!

I've often seen napkins used in crafting but never has a go myself - there are really beautiful patterns these days, so different and worthy of being used in a project. I knew Diana would love the butterfly one! Cute rocking horse too, it's good to see some of your collection :-D

p.s. Thanks for your comments on my blog yesterday. I don't usually drink Lipton's tea, it was from our hotel in Slovenia, but quite tasty and refreshing. And I'm with you on the strawberry front, only like them fresh. Hate them soggy on flans and in jam with a vengeance! Lol!
Wow! I had no idea those were napkins until you shared, and they look so lovely and unique! I was at Walmart a while ago and noticed that they had marked down quite a few napkins and paper plates in various genres. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with Dear Elizabeth! ReplyDeleteGorgeous napkins, Elizabeth. I was give some very pretty peacock feather ones recently and knew there was something I could do with them but I don't know how to do it! Thank you for your lovely comment and I'm so glad you enjoyed seeing our sweet kitties. I'm getting on pretty well with sorting my computer files now and I'm definitely going to trash the hard drive that failed in my old computer!

I am glad you found my slow cooker post-when I wrote the paper post I thought readers may not see the slow cooker one. speaking of melting wax in your crock pots--have you done batiks??? that has been on my want to do list as well I even bought the soy wax to melt and use that way.
I have cooked the hemp fibers for four hours now with the washing soda-and not sure if it is broken down enough. I decided I am going to just let it cool down in the pot over night and then rinse well tomorrow morning-and then see what happens in the blender first before i add the cotton pulp--

Hi Elizabeth, thanks for letting me know my atc's have finally arrived (probably after visiting all over the States before they got to you) having redone my Pif I have one ready for swapping when I next visit Holland where we swap in huge numbers. Hope they don't go down the route of doing the circular ones that are all the rage over there.
