Wednesday wonders: signs of autumn

So many people are feeling autumn in the air and their art is reflecting it.  I, on the other hand, have had a week of very warm extremely hot temperatures, so I need some incentive to think the "official" date of autumn, or the Autumnal Equinox, is only three weeks away.  On September 22, autumn begins in the northern hemisphere and spring begins in the southern hemisphere.

Here are some true signs of autumn as brought to you by Pexels.

I hope this has put you in the mood for autumn.  Not sure it has me, but I really enjoyed the beauty it provides.

Thanks for joining me today.  I am so glad you like these weekly wonders.

  3. Nice photos. :) We are humid again today so it feels less like fall, but since I don't like humidity, your photos make me want crisp fall temperatures. Nice! Hope you cool off soon-sometimes summer just lingers but ours ran south I think back in August. happy Wednesday. Hugs-erika

  4. Send your hot temps up here. I'm not ready to give up Summer. The picture of the squirrel made me laugh. Squirrels in my yard will be collecting acorns soon.

It had been surprisingly cool here. I'm not sure I like it. Too reminiscent of winter being right around the corner.

  8. It doesn't look like autumn here at all, but it's beginning to feel like it. I wonder if we'll get good color here this year like the photos in your post show.

The season is changing here as well, cooler in the evening and mornings.
