I seem to be batting zero on my gift giving/making this year.
This is Day 27 of AEDM. Thank you for visiting. Your visits mean more to me than you know.
Your thoughts are very important to Bleubeard and me. I appreciate it when you care enough to stop by and even more when you leave a short message letting me know you were here.
I don't want to ever turn on comment moderation, so when I find comments that don't relate to my blog content, your comment will immediately be deleted.
I wonder what they will look like tomorrow? I haven't even started on cards or gifts this year! Have a great Sunday, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI like the look of the bubbles but it might not look good if they pop when they are dry. :(
ReplyDeleteI hope it works out for you. You put a lot of work into your gifts :)
I think the bubbles will add lots of texture and fit in wonderfully :)A happy accident maybe
ReplyDeleteLove Chrissie xx
Hopefully, a happy accident occurred?
ReplyDeleteOh, Elizabeth! How frustrating! I hope you think of it as "texture." I wonder what a sanding would do -- probably mess up the paint. Can't wait to see how you move ahead!
ReplyDeleteTake a deep breath, maybe this was meant to happen and it will add to the overall look of the tiles when they have dried out. Look forward to the update tomorrow.

I wouldn't say bating zero unless you want smooth tiles. I love the bubble effect. Very artsy. At least you are getting to some Christmas art gifts. :) The hubby still can't drive and he is needing to get out every day for his mental health. So that's what I've been doing, but today my daughter is taking him out, hurrah. Maybe a little art time is on my list! :) Enjoy the end of this holiday weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteGosh Elizabeth, how experimental is this!
ReplyDeleteWhat will happen next?.......
Uh oh...........but I admire your spirit in trying! I get very frustrated when things don't turn out the way I want but it is a learning process. You can come on over to my studio and we can make things. xo
ReplyDeleteBummer. Anxious to see what happens next.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wondrous Thanksgiving.
Oh no! Darn bubbles! I hope you can fix this and redo it. Bummer.
ReplyDeleteI love how you think of these projects and how they usually turn out so well - of course I am working backwards so I I know what happened this time! Hugs,Chrisx
