Autumn and Art continued

Today we're back at Autumn and Art.  I hope you are enjoying these photos I'm sharing.  Can you believe we are half way through October?

An artist had left these paintings.  I wonder if it was to warn people there was a step.

I stopped at this booth because of the houses.  I knew I could make something equally as good,

but was completely blown away when I read the price was $265.00 (USD).  I can see I'm undervaluing my work, as wonky as it may be.

I'll let you peruse a few of these pieces and will comment only as needed.

I got inspired by these birds,

fish,

and mixed media.

I only wished these hadn't been framed under glass.  It's impossible to get a good photo when that happens.

If you enlarge the bottom frame, you can see the steps used to create one of these pieces.

That's it for today.  I am delighted you decided to visit.  Your interest in these photos means the world to me.

  4. Wow- there is particularity interesting art today. That owl pendant is gorgeous. And I like those pieces you showcased with the plainer backgrounds and the small images that pop off the page. The grasshopper one really speaks to me. And those birds. What a riot. I would be tempted to buy one of those if they were in my budget. Hope its a good weekend. Hugs-Erika

  5. yes, I've been enjoying them! the set of 3 paintings of the silver birches is just fabulous, that's my favourite (though judging by the prices I wouldn't be able to afford them!) Just posted my trip to Kew from this morning...

$265 for the houses--but does she actually sell anything at that price? I wonder?

  13. Oh yes, loved the houses and the birds, and seeing the steps in creating at the end. The artists in the tents must have been very generous as often photographs are not allowed here. But I'm really glad that this was not the case at this show.

  14. Oh, we have a piece by the bird guy. He used to to the Wells Street fair in Chicago when we were there for our trade shows. I've always like his work. Another round of great shots from this over the top fair, must be a big regional show for alot of these artists. xox
