WOYWW 342: the one where there's nothing to show

Twas just three days before Christmas, and all through the land

folks were sharing their desks with Julia of Stamping Ground.  Mine was bare, with nothing to show.

Even my sewing machine refused to glow.  No rocking horses appear on the desk,

but a few elsewhere sport their Christmas best.

The trees which are obvious throughout the house, share their time with the rockers

and possibly a mouse!  Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it.

Please join me at Julia's where the Wednesday celebration never sleeps.  And please leave your number if you are playing in WOYWW this week.

  1. Merry Christmas, Elizabeth! I enjoyed your Christmas poem and the neatness of your desk, the opposite of mine! And of course, the rocking horses. The glass one looks so elegant!

  9. Wonderful verse...that would have taken me ages! It does all look super tidy..although on your desk, the honey bear bottle filled with glue seems to be keeping an eye out for you! I love the sight of your decorations - those stocking hangers are gorgeous aren't they - bet they sparkle and twinkle beautifully in the light. Have a lovely lovely Christmas.

  31. Elizabeth, love the poem, but not sure you should look to a career in poetry yet. I love the look of a clear working surface, all ready for new and exciting projects in the New Year.
I love you crystal rocking horse and tree, they are smashing.
Thanks for dropping by my desk, and the lovely comments you made. The Thank you cards were some part made cards that I was either going to have to find a home for or stick Thank You die cuts. The die cut option was less mentally stressful than trying to find a home for them.
Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Bless you.

  34. Thank you for visiting my blog earlier : D. Your workspace is ready for your next inspiration. Apparently the warm weather kept the mice busy outside this year because Archie didn't bring me any dead ones (which are better than bringing me live maimed ones).
