I recently got this new journal, and have been playing a bit in it. For the left page, I first painted the background, then added the seashell images over which I placed pieces of mica.
For the right side, I added another piece of sea themed paper I found in my stash, then added my first (and probably last) Haiku I elevated with pop-dots. In case you can't read it:Along the seashoreThe speckled fish at the bottom of the page was too bright for the rest of the images, even with mica covering it, but it was the only one I had.
Sunlight shines on speckled fish
And seashells glisten.
I'm off to visit Art Journal Journey and see what others have created this month. Perhaps you'll join me.
