It's nearly here. The 5th anniversary of WOYWW, that is. Can't you just feel the electricity in the air? I'm sure Julia, our desker Queen at Stamping Ground can! It seems I got a bit ahead of myself when I announced last week I would show my completed ATCs.
So you don't think I fibbed, here is the one I made for friends, 
and here is the one I made for Julia.In case you're interested, I manipulated these in PhotoShop using the Gaussian blur on the first scan, and the radial blur on the second scan. As for the rocking horse of the week? It's also a BLUR!!
My apologies if I missed you last week. I've had a terrible time keeping my internet going. It's been all I could do to just get my posts posted. However, if you leave your number you get at Julia's, I promise to find a way to get to you this week.

ReplyDeleteI have been working on my ATC 's ready for nest week as well..... Oh Elizabeth you made me laugh with your comment this morning... You know me so well!!!!! I have to admit this weekend just gone I had been working on a scrapbook journal layout my first of baby Lara and my desk was left and photographed as I put the journal to one side to dry as it's not quite finished! I will show you it next week .... I will be guilty for years to come of baby Lara pictures in scrapbooks journals etc, she may well be my only grandchild has my daughter has been rather ill for a number of years and not of the best health another pregancy would involve me looking after her and Lara for nine months while she got through it again as she was so very ill and hospitalised.... I am going on a bit today Elizabeth!!! Take care and I hope to swap ATC's next week with you

ReplyDeleteWow, psychedelic, man! A Gaussian effect, huh? When I worked in TV, light years ago, the engineers used to De-gauss the monitors with this massive magnet thingy and the effect on screen was much the same as your pics!

I'm sorry you are having technology problems, everything on your page does look a bit blurred! Was the rocking horse going so fast that it is just a blur as well. Seriously though it is maddening when technolgy fails when we are so dependant on it these days.

Oh ha! How funny - I really thought for a minute that my eyes needed an extra rub after this early morning! There is a lot of anticipation about next week - it's more exciting than any birthday! Am very sorry that your internet is an issue - there's nothing so inconvenient I've decided. Unless your car isn't working!

We are hoping to meet up again probably in July. I am hoping to swap with a few others at the crop so I will send julia a prepaid envelope to post them to me .... Didn't think about it the other say either. I would like to send you an ATC anyway so
