WOYWW Two-five-OH: the one where she shows what was in the box

Julia is our Queen and host of What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday each week.  In fact, for the previous 249 weeks, too.  I'm going to try to keep it short and sweet this week, just like Julia asks of us Deskers.

Some of you might remember two weeks ago when I showed this box,

even though some of you might have missed the rocking horse.

I can now reveal what was in the box.  I was one of the lucky recipients of all these Sculpey products in exchange for

a tutorial on my blog.  I know you don't have time to look now, but it's here when you have time to check it out.  It is also on my Tutorials page which is located directly underneath my header (and Bleubeard's adorable face).

And of course, that's why I was so late visiting you last this week.  Thanks as always for leaving your number.  You are much easier to find that way, unless your G + blog won't let me leave a comment.  Now let's visit Julia and do some snooping and learning.

Love your friend Sally too, I want her cap, it's so jaunty! But as I have an enormous head (really!) it probably wouldn't fit anyway :-) I want to visit Solo's and have an omelette with you too!!

  19. I saw the tutorial and loved it. The thing is...will you keep and use that sculpey, or just keep it? I'm not great at onward use age of demo products I'm ashamed to say!

  20. Coo - what a gift. Well done for your hard work. The end result is great. Have read your tutorial - lovely and clear. Thank you. Never done this sort of work - but I'm sure it must be fun to see your design come to life.
Thanks for already visiting - I rather imagine Mabel will indeed be thrilled when I stop sticking her with pins!! But she is doing a great, helpful task!!! Amazing - she just stands there and takes it all - even when, as yesterday, I undressed her, took everything apart, then put it all together differently simply with pins!
    Have a great week.

The plan is to have the box and form finished by mid July-no pressure, lol. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #40

  53. Trapunto sewing well never heard of the word before but have used the technique! Yes I hate cooking and I have never got a good photo printed at home. You need to buy the right paper to start with, it uses loads of expensive ink too, so I have always used an online company far less stressful. Choose your prints, upload them and let them do the hard work! BJ

  57. Nice to see what was in the box at last, Elizabeth! How exciting! And I did spot the dinky little rocking horse!

Sorry not to be part of WOYWW this week - I thought I'd visit a few desks, but haven't been well enough to do anything - I did try yesterday, only to find that my sewing machine is not working after a long period of inactivity so it's now in for repairs. I've got such plans for my teabags!

    Have a great week.
