September and October in my never ending calendar

It's time once again to join Kate at The Kathryn Wheel with my monthly calendar pages, this time for September and October.  I can't believe how quickly this year has moved along.  So many memories, so little time.
This month has been spent partly working in my basement, partly attempting to allow my back to heal, and partly procrastinating by going out and about.   Once again, my page is mostly unadorned.  Although I thought blue and green might bring cooler weather, it appears that was not the case until Saturday (the 28th) when decent weather finally appeared.

My October page is ready to go, and I'm hoping cooler weather will soon prevail.  Not cold, mind you, just more autumn like and less summer like.

On a brighter note, although my September project is not yet completed, I recently went shopping with a friend from out of town.  We went to Michael's (a big box craft store in the US), where I purchased a real notebook for next year's calendar.  I never could wrap my head around these file folders, so next year, I'll be working in a real notebook again.

Please don't forget to visit Kate who has links to the other calendar gals and guys.  They will appreciate it as much as I.

  1. I like the idea of file folders but a real notebook sounds a lot easier to organize. Then again I can't get organized enough to even do a calendar so there is that.

  4. You are such a sweetie worrying about me! I am good now, just needed some time to catch up on all the stuff that I ignored when I was not up to it. Stuff like housework and ironing! LOL This week I am back on form and have been sewing but not blogging. I prefer not to blog when I am miserable, nobody wants to hear my tales of woe. I even went out for a walk this morning in the spring sunshine.

  7. The "real" notebook sounds good to me. Not sure what I'll be using when I have finished my 12 months journal at the end of February (end of Winter).
