October and November in my never ending calendar

My October calendar is complete and I'm linking with Kate at The Kathryn Wheel.

For those of you who read minutia, the month of October was split between me finishing cleaning up my basement after rain the month before caused all three of my hallway shelving units to collapse, and me getting sick from what I initially thought was food poisoning at a restaurant where my friend Sally and I ate.  Now I'm not sure what the "bug" is I have, but it isn't going away easily.  It keeps me away from the computer and in a room that doesn't have any electronics (grin).

One nice thing about being sick is, I had some free time between potty visits to work on my November calendar page.  Thankfully, it is ready to go.

I'm also linking to AEDM,
with today being day 1.  I'm always a day ahead with my posts because I live in a different time zone from Leah, our host, who posts (or has in years past) at midnight her time.

  2. Hello, how nice to see your wonderful calendars again. I forgot about mine, thanks for the reminder. I really do love the backgrounds you make for these, mixing colors can be tricky but yours comes out just right.
I hope November will be a more relaxing month then October was. Happy weekend and hope your feeling much better today!

  3. Right on time even when not well. One of the things I admire about you, you are so good at commitments. I rarely take on long going projects because seem unable to stick to them.

  9. Hello again, seems I'm always stopping by doesn't it (smile). Thank you for the visit and comment and help on linking. I did try linking just that post, tried it 3 times and couldn't get it right. Had to stop and get kids and me ready for the day so I just linked the regular way. Will try again tomorrow or with hubby's help. Wish there was just one MAGIC button to push and it would do all of it by itself.
Hoping to start my calendar today or tomorrow.
Cold and very windy here, hoping your warmer then me.
I will see you again tomorrow!

Happy Day 1 and here's to an abundance of art!

  15. Hi Elizabeth,

So sorry to hear you've had a terrible bug. We had a nasty one go through the extended and immediate families, however, I was lucky to escape it.

I love, love, LOVE your calendar idea! Such a lovely way to keep track of your life.

I'm looking forward to doing AEDM with you again this year.

I hope you feel better real soon.

    Enjoy the weekend!
