T stands for while ouT and abouT

Today I'm taking my friend and neighbor Sally and you to a Mexican restaurant for lunch.  I hope you're hungry.

Granted, this is the side of the building, and not exactly attractive.  I didn't even get a photo of their signage.  This is their parking lot.  You must park here because the restaurant sits on a very busy main thoroughfare and there is no parking allowed.  But once inside, you forget all that, and concentrate on the wonderful food choices you have.

As always, I'm having Chiles Rellenos, a true Mexican dish that uses Poblano or Anaheim chiles, with skins seared and removed, stuffed with cheese, dipped in an egg and flour batter, and fried.

Some restaurants cover them with a spicy red mole sauce.  This place does not.  I always ask, because I'm not fond of mole which is pronounced MO-lay.  This restaurant also provides their chilies with rice, beans, and several flour tortillas.  If you've never made these (or even if you have), they can be quite labor intensive.  That's why I prefer to buy them in restaurants, where their chefs do all the work.
