While I was gone from Blogland

My friend Sally and I went out to eat a lot in February.  One of the places we visited was Bishop's, a restaurant we went to last year, too.

I'm not sure, but I think Sally is a bit apprehensive.

Nope, I think she must have been cold, because it appears she is quite happy to be in the warmth of this place.

At this restaurant, like many buffets, you pay first.  Not sure what was taking so long, but the hostess was helping another customer, so I was able to snap a few shots before we paid.

Unlike most buffets, you don't serve yourself.  They serve the food cafeteria style.  Although I forgot to take a photo of my tray, I had a little bit of most every fruit and veggie they offered.  Just call me Miss Piggy.

Watch for more fun food days out and about soon.  After all, that was about all I did during the month of February.

  8. So lovely to have you up and running again... have missed you so much!! I think it was a pretty wise move to eat out if you are now snowed in and can't go anywhere... should make the cabin fever more bearable!! LOL
I'm going to post your birthday pressie off to you in a couple of days... and yes, I know you will have to keep it for ages but I know I will be manic and busy in Oz sorting a house that I won't get a chance to send it nearer the time!!

  10. How fun to go out to lunch with a good friend :)
I always overeat at buffet style places - but it's fun to feel like you're getting your money's worth! It looks like you have some nice sunshine where you are - even if it is chilly!

  15. Have you ever thought about including a little
bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is
fundamental and all. However just imagine if you added some great visuals or videos to give
your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent
but with pics and videos, this blog could definitely be one of the best in its
    niche. Terrific blog!
